Thin Line Badges and/or Patches. These badges depict a thin coloured line through an Australian Flag design.
They are all velcro backed 80 mm x 45 mm for both the embroidered badges and PVC Patches.
The origin can be researched but today the blue line is understood to mean “the line between law-and-order and chaos in society” and refers to Police
The different colours denote the different services in Australia,
The Thin Blue Line – denotes Police both State and Federal
The Thin Red Line – denotes Firefighting
The Thin Green Line – denotes Ambulance and Paramedics.
The Thin White Line – denotes Security and Prison Officers.
The Thin Orange Line – denotes State Emergency Services.
